I thought Squeak was a sort of a modern version of Smalltalk, like Clojure is a modern version of Lisp. How far is Scratch?

Squeak is not just a modern version of Smalltalk, the most noticeable thing about Squeak is a very radical new approach to IDE.

I don't know how far is Scratch, I need to try Squeak to answer that.
